Weed Wacker and the New CRV

When I came out to my new car late Thursday afternoon I  opened the door and looked in the back seat. My first thought, "What is black potting soil doing all over my back seat?' I stood there stunned for a moment and then I looked up.My back passenger glass was gone.  Scattered into a million pea sized pieces all over the inside of the car.

Laying the ground next to the yellow line is a" squaresh" rock less than
the size of a dime that had been thrown by the "weed wackier guy" our school
maintenance man. He was not 50 feet from the car. He did not even know
that he had done it. He was also quiet indigent that I thought that he had
done it, which he had.
A few tears were shed. My car is not even 3 weeks old. The insurance will cover it being fixed but I will be driving a rental for several days. My car is so new that they had a real difficulty finding replacement glass for it. All will be fine but I need even had anything happen while driving my Explorer, and my new car was sitting in the back parking lot of the school and very few other people were even there. Next time I hear the weed wackier, I am leaving.

Happy St. Patrick's Day- March 17

The pear tree is in full bloom.
Well, this is not the usual March weather. We are in the 70's today and going to be in the 80's later this week. So we worked in the yard today.

Time for Scarlet's private pool, she couldn't wait to get the water back in it.

The forsythia is in full bloom.

All the yard was mowed, it looks great.

New Stuff

Very rarely in my life do I get "new things." I lead a very blessed life but large purchases are not the norm. But this week was a different story. I got a new Honda CRV, my explorer was about to roll 100,000 miles and got about 16 miles to a gallon of gas. The CRV gets 20 city and 30 highway. So this is exciting. It is very nice to say the least.
Scarlet, says "Hello and where is the ball?"

Inside, can you see the back up camera, nice feature. Love it.

The counsol, I have blue tooth now.

In addition Hutch-n-Son farms got a new Kubota tractor. This a strange sight indeed, because in our land of farming our tractors have been blue or Ford. They did trade a "blue one"  on this one.

Spring is coming. The first forsythia blossom this morning. Daffodils are already blooming and the peepers are peeping at night. Spring is on the way. All new things.
